Entrepreneurship - INDIA
The world runs by money. The money is only earned by either trade of a product or delivering a service . In modern world the registered businesses are been setup to perform trade operations. The trade operations undergo sale of products, that are produced innovatively from raw materials or sale of proprietary produced goods from external Production houses. The person who adopts this work as his career to serve the consumers ,creates wealth to himself and to the nation, give some additional benefits to people of the society is known as an Entrepreneur and his work is known as Entrepreneurship.
India is a country which has strong basis of Entrepreneurship from its origin. Each and every person have the genes of an Entrepreneur . From ancient ages of 4 Varna System, The top varna Brahmins raise funds from kings setup temples, schools, The Kshtriyas who rule the region setup weapon factories, Gold factories etc. The Vaishyas setup stores for selling produced goods. The Sudras like Potters, Farmers.. etc produced products that are useful to everyone and sell them. These all people are Entrepreneurs from their living point of view and the above examples tell us that this land is of core Entrepreneurship.
The Indians traded with China,Rome and Egypt. They traded wheat, rice, lentils, chickens, figs, sugar, salt, pepper, cotton, cinnamon and spices. They also traded silk, gold and pottery, in fact silk was most traded.The transportation was camels,donkeys and caravans. After a while people began to trade using ships on the ocean. The people used oxen,camels and caravans to travel on land. They exported pearls,cotton,sandal wood,perfumed oils and precious stones.
The trade was so huge towards foreign countries. India accounted for 25% of the world's industrial output in 1750, declining to 2% of the world's industrial output in 1900. Britain replaced India as the world's largest textile manufacturer in the 19th century. In terms of urbanization, Mughal India had a higher percentage of its population (15%) living in urban centers in 1600 than British India did in the 19th century.The quality of products are so rich, that gained higher profits to the merchants. The products like ornaments from Gold smith, Powerful swords from Black Smith, Beautiful paints from Painters, Fresh Organic vegetables from farmers .. etc contributed to the world through Entrepreneurship.
The state of Entrepreneurship in INDIA once upon a time:
I have traveled across the length and breadth of India and I have not seen one person who is a beggar, who is a thief. Such wealth I have seen in the country, such high moral values, people of such caliber, that I do not think we would conquer this country, unless we break the very backbone of this nation, which is her spiritual and cultural heritage, and therefore, I propose that we replace her old and ancient education system, her culture, for if the Indians think that all that is foreign and English is good and greater than their own, they will lose their self esteem, their native culture and they will become what we want them, a truly dominated nation."

The Indian Entrepreneurs are so self sufficient that there are no beggars in INDIA. This may be one of the reasons INDIA is called The Golden Parrot. The moderate climatic conditions, Knowledge , Human resources gives strong basis for this country. But the stable ecosystem of Entrepreneurship is been broken by several invasions by other countries, making this country and countrymen and women forget about their ability and strength. That would be death of Golden Parrot.
Times changed after long Struggle INDIA got Independence. Modern machines & Technology replaced many human resources (People are running behind secure jobs and forgot about their strength in their genes). The basic needs of a human are Food ,Shelter,Clothing. But now time has come to create strong economic INDIA providing the fourth basic need i.e, work. The work can solve above all needs and eradicate poverty. The people must realise that Entrepreneurship is the only source to improve economy of the country (the rupee value). New requirements, new products, new Entrepreneurs have come. The sun rising in eastern hemisphere (INDIA). The Mechanical Lion has born. MAKE IN INDIA. To inspire ,create, develop. Lets hope this country regains its consciousness and becomes Golden Lion.
